Āyurvedic Cooking with Elizabeth Cunningham Bossart returns! In this four-month course you will learn the ins and outs of Āyurvedic cooking through the summer and transition to fall with live demonstrations and classic recipes that are staples of Āyurvedic kitchens.
Elizabeth will demystify techniques, ingredients, and how to integrate more Āyurvedic components into your regular cooking. Specifically, how to incorporate cooling qualities into your routine and how things that are cold or cool affect your system differently than things with cooling properties.
This is an interactive class where you will get to watch, and even cook along, as Elizabeth breaks down the tricks, techniques, and reasons behind Āyurveda’s approach to nourishment.

Āyurvedic Cooking is a course that incorporates recipes, daily staples, personal specification, and the overall joy of cooking for yourself and others.
Specifically focused on the needs we face during summer months and the transition from summer to fall, this class specifically emphasizes ways to manage heat and aggravation, which can be applicable year round!
Elizabeth will provide live demonstrations of preparing traditional foods, answer questions for specific diets, share her personal and professional experience, and integrate the learning desires of the students enrolled in class.
If you enjoy cooking, are intimidated by cooking, or don’t cook but want to start, the foods and skills in this course will set you up to create delicious and nutritious foods for you and your loved ones in the Āyurvedic tradition.
Faculty: Elizabeth Cunningham Bossart
Elizabeth Bossart is a well-seasoned Practitioner of Āyurveda. She holds Masters degrees in Teaching and in Āyurveda and is a Certified Āyurvedic Practitioner from the Mt. Madonna Institute College of Āyurveda.
In the winter of 2018, she returned from completing a 5-week Āyurvedic internship in India and is eager to share her wealth of knowledge and experience with you. Join her to study Āyurveda, the Science of Life and its applicability to your everyday joy, health, and well-being.
